i am 28 in control of my life , 90 % of the time i get what i want...if i want to get a job done i make 50 phone calls and try 20 inroads and ask 30 people to recommend me....and guess what ultimately i do get what i want... hard work pays off....but the grand question is ...does it work in the matter of finding true love...i guess not.
the entire segment is divided in 2:
the ones that you like and the one's that like you.
lets tackle the first set first
the ever evasive the ones that you like...you wonder what is it that is going wrong ..here i am ...good looking, smart with a personality to reckon with( in short every mans dream) ..why is it that when i think i am so perfectly right for them ...they still don't think so or don't notice you enough....
reason being...that's OUR Perception... OBVIOUSLY they don't think so...male mentality says it.: they are so smart that they cant bear having someone equally smart or smarter around them...or rather they just don't like you..no reason...their minds may be occupied elsewhere....
an ego bruising thought but its true...what to do .. imagine not being in control of a situation you so want to be in control of..but the eternal truth of the matter is.........LET IT BE....LEAVE IT...LET GO...hard but true...especially for control freaks who want to handle every situation and have the outcome your way! but the fact of the matter is...its a time waste!
now lets take the second variety... do a role reversal of the above (just that the man chasing you could be genuinely DULL also..that's one thing that puts off smart women!) . however the outcome is the same...but the question here is ...is it about getting what you want or wanting what you've got?
the answer yet again is LET IT BE....how much ever we try these things are not in our hands...you rather enjoy the joyride and worry about that extra frizz in you hair than these things ..since we are too evolved and complex and unfortunately men are not. if only we saw things that simplistically we would have been happier..
